Sexual Health Screening

All our sexual health consultations include a telephone call back discussion and advice regarding your results. These results can also be emailed on to you upon request.

We recommend not passing urine for 2 hours prior to the consultation and all urine samples to be first-catch urine collections, as this will ensure most accurate sample testing and diagnosis. Should you require or request a prescription for antibiotics our in-house pharmacy will be able to provide appropriate medication for your treatment.

At Pimlico Health Centre, we offer confidential and discreet sexual health screening for peace of mind. We use a private laboratory service to ensure rapid turn around for your clinical tests. Most blood tests and urine test results will be available within 24-48 hours and swab tests can take up to a few days to come back. These results will be discussed with you by the GP and we can also email you a copy of your results upon request.

Our sexual health screening offers different comprehensive packages to ensure appropriate testing and treatment. Our experienced doctors will recommend and discuss the appropriate tests for you alongside treatment and advice. Normally within the NHS, patients tend to wait 1-2 weeks for their results to be discussed with them. Due to the use of private laboratory services we can obtain your results more rapidly for your optimal management and peace of mind.
