Blood Tests

At our practice we understand that it can sometimes be difficult to arrange a blood test with your GP or at a local hospital, thus we provide a private phlebotomy service. We use a private laboratory service to expedite your results and most blood results will be available within 24 hours. Our doctor and medical team will let you know of the turn-around-times for these results, alternatively please ask our team when you call to book your appointment.

Results interpretation policy

We do recommend a consultation with our doctors to discuss your results so we can provide best clinical care. The consultation allows us the opportunity to discuss your symptoms and address your health concerns.

With the exception of sexual health urine screens and pregnancy blood tests, we feel it is good medical practice for us to interpret results for patients we have seen. However, if you DO NOT want a consultation and require the blood tests, then you can simply use our practice as a phlebotomy service and results will be emailed on to you for you to follow up with your own General Practitioner or Consultant Specialist.

Please note: the fees below are the cost for the blood tests without a consultation charge.

Our most popular blood tests are P1 and P2 profiles. These are very comprehensive blood testing profiles, which assess your blood count, iron levels for anaemia, kidney and liver function and more.

P1 profile – Full blood count, iron & ferritin level, kidney function, liver function tests, calcium level, cholesterol and full lipid (cholesterol & fat) profile, glucose (sugar) level, uric acid (gout) level and ESR (inflammation) level = £95.00

P2 profile – As above with P1 plus thyroid function test and vitamin D level = £165.00
